I am a passionate, conscientious and innovative Speech and Language Therapist with extensive experience working with children. I specialise in working with children with Speech Sound Disorders (including Phonological Delays and Disorders, Inconsistent Phonological Disorder, Articulation Disorders, Childhood Apraxia of Speech (formerly known as Developmental Verbal Dyspraxia) and Dysarthria) and have attended a number of additional training courses in this area (see below). I have extensive experience in this area and am confident working with severe and complex Speech Sound Disorders. I am particularly passionate about ensuring my therapy is up to date with the latest research to enable our sessions to be as effective as possible whilst also making sessions as fun as possible for your child. Alongside working privately I also currently work as a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist in the NHS as Clinical Lead for Speech Sound Disorders and Cleft Lip and Palate and run a clinic at a Cardiff Metropolitan University for Children with Severe and Complex Speech Sound Disorders. If your child is also known to the NHS I am more than happy to work with their NHS therapist to provide collaborative support for your child.
